The Grave of KH. Ahmad Mutamakkin


Pati Regency has many prominent figures and ulama, the most famous is KH. Mutamakkin (Mbah Mutamakkin). His grave is located in Kajen Village, Margoyoso District. This religious tourism object can be reached in less than half an hour, with a distance of 18 kilometers to the north of Pati City.


Every year on the 10th of Muharram, this place is crowded with pilgrims, most pilgrims come from outside the region, both from Java and outside Java. The environment that is surrounded by Pesantren (Islamic boarding schools), makes the atmosphere truly calm the soul. Kajen village, which is famous for Santri village, has indeed been visited by many famous figures, such as the former President of Indonesia, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, Gusdur and KH. Din Syamsudin. In this grave complex there is also the grave of KH. Sahal Mahfudh (Founder of Institut Pesantren Mathali'ul Falah), one of Indonesia's major ulama from Kajen Village, Margoyoso, Pati.


Masjid Kajen


Masjid Kajen  (Kajen Mosque) was founded in 1695 AD by Sheikh Ahmad Mutamakkin
Inside the mosque there are ornaments on the stand and the front of the mosque. This object is believed by Islamic historians to have the meaning and advise from the founder, in its development the mosque has experienced several expansions due to the increasing number of jamaah and santri from year to year.


Masjid Kajen has a Candra Sengkala year of its construction namely "The Pandita Kuwi Ngawang Bawana" 1107 Hpandhita: 7 Ngawang: 10 Bawana: 1 or if the year of BC in 1695

Institut Pesantren Mathali'ul Falah (IPMAFA)

IPMAFA was established in 2008 under the name “Islamic High School Mathali’ul Falah” (STAIMAFA) and offered four undergraduate study programs. Then on 25 September 2015 STAIMAFA transformed its status into institute by the name Institut Pesantren Mathali’ul Falah (IPMAFA). Along with the transformation, IPMAFA further offered four new Study Programs (Prodi) namely Islamic Early Childhood Education, Elementary School Teacher Education (primary education), Islamic Broadcasting and Communication (IBC), and finally Management of Zakat and Waqf (ZAWA).
IPMAFA becomes an alternative university for prospective students who want to continue their study in Bachelor level. The academic programs offered as follow:
